Rachel watched Erica stretch every single thing in her body intricatly. Could she really pull this off? Probably not, but at least she tried right? Oh what was she kidding, she had no chance to get on the Cherrios. She could barley keep Finn without Quinn always coming up in their conversations. She sighed, and started stretching.
Wow! Maybe she should do this more often. She felt her shoulders and legs slowly get less tense, as she leaned to the side with Erica. "So do you think I'm cut out for this?" She quietly said to Erica as the football team passed by. She then leaned over to the left side, and waited quietly for a response, hoping Finn had skipped practice or something for Quinn.

Naivety and stupidity were two different things, completely. Finn knew this because his mother knew this, and she made sure her son was aware that he was not stupid. She'd told him all the time through middle school, and now she didn't have to tell him too often. It was rare that he got upset over the way his brain worked anymore. There was the time that he found out he wasn't actually the father of Quinn's baby, and then there was the time he slept with Santana. Not that he told his mother that he had lost his virginity. He had just been upset...and it being just him and his mother at home, she'd noticed he was upset, and she'd told him again how lucky she was to have such a wonderful son. He didn't find himsef to be all that wonderful, but he could have been worse, couldn't he?
Sure. Sighing, Finn started lacing up his cleats, watching as one by one his teammates left the locker room. He wasn't sure why he was moving so slow today. It was probably on account of his mind moving so slow. Everything seemed a hundred times more difficult...and things seemed difficult to him every day. He'd left the house that morning without shoes, and had walked about a block before he'd noticed and had gone home. That meant he was running late when he finally got to school. And his entire body seemed to be lagging all day because of it. When he finally made it onto the field, everyone else was running around it, and Beiste had to merely shove her thumb in their direction, and Finn was off behind them, foot in front of foot...until he skidded to a halt and took a few steps backwards, stopping and staring at Rachel and Erica for a moment with a confused look on his face. "Um....hi?"

...Shit. Rachel slowly turned around, and smiled slightly. Maybe if she acted like she hadn't been caught in the act, he won't realize what she's up too. "Hey Finn, going for practice? Erica and I were just stretching." She smiled lightly, and watched him. He had came out a little later than the rest of the team, which worried her slightly. "You okay?" Her head tilted slightly.
What Rachel was also worried about, what him noticing her in her gym shorts and shirt. She didn't do much sports and physical outside of school other than gym, so all she had was her gym stuff. This was a first time for her to do anything physical other than vocal exercises, so along with being nervous, now she had Finn breathing down her neck.
