Of two things Erica was certain. One, school, today, was going to be an absolute drag. Two, today was her birthday. She had to go to school. She was going to give Puck a ride there and back, and she had to turn in a really important paper for English as well. But was there any other reason to go? Puck could get to school just fine on his own. And her teacher loved her, so it wouldn't be a problem to hand it in tomorrow.
But either way, she flew down the stairs from her room, and grabbed an apple. She picked up her over sized backpack, and keys. "MARK! LET'S GO!! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!!" She grabbed her iPod adapter to her car, and another apple for Puck. She usually had to force it down for him. Maybe today would be different. She looked like she didn't sleep at all. She thought about maybe treating herself to a nice Starbucks mocha frapp. Then people might notice, especially with the fact that she never brings in coffee. Whatever, she thought to herself. She sighed, and sat down, waiting for Mark to hurry his lazy ass up.

Mark was always pretty lazy, it just was the way he was. He couldn't really help it. One he was a teenage boy, do you really know any boys who weren't just lazy by nature? Nope. The only difference was Mark was good looking and lazy. He was brushing his teeth when her heard Erica's scream and couldn't help smirk as he finished up and walked out the bathroom and looked into one of the hall mirrors and smirked. Mm he was good looking.
"I'll be there in a minute," he yelled as he waltzed into his room, picked up a pair of pants off of his floor, smelled them and deemed them clean. After that he grabbed a shirt from his drawer, got dressed and then headed toward the front of the house. Stopping at the mirror again before continuing and smirking at her. "Let's go Erica. Before we are late," he said smoothly.

Listening to Mark's nonchalant response made her squirm. How could he be so laid back on a day like this? She wondered how Joshua was, while she waited for the slug to move. She took a big bite of her apple. She tapped her fingers, and stood back up when Mark walked in. "You're worse than a snail." She grabbed her keys, and her bag. Then walked out to her SUV in the garage.
"You're sitting in the back, Puck gets shotgun... He called it last night." She hopped in the drivers side, and put her adapter in, and blasted 'Like a G6' on the stereo system. When Joshua was in the car, she would never think to do that, but being a teenage girl and all, and it was her birthday, she felt she had the right to blast obnoxious music. Maybe 'Sweet Sixteen' by Hilary Duff next? Hmm...
