The new school year has started, and New Directions isn't wasting any time preparing for the year's competition. However, the new year, brings new personal changes as well.
Rachel Berry is back, and more determined than ever to shine- and to force the rest of the glee club to do so as well, whether they want to or not. However, her position of female vocal lead is about to be challenged when a new recruit goes from zero to sensation in the matter of one single song.
Quinn Fabrey knows better than anyone that high school is a chance to make yourself into what you want to be- and she never wanted to be the unwed teenage mother. Now she's back and determined to regain her former social standing, and she's willing to do anything in the process.
As for the head of Glee Club, Mr. Schuester, he's still trying to get back together with his ex, Emma Pillsbury. She's trying to move on, but somehow is finding it impossible to do when there's so many windows in her office. Emma wants Will, but she knows she can't give him what he wants, so she's determined to sit back and wait for him to move on... even though the idea nearly makes her break out into a rash.
What will happen over the next nine months of school? It's anyone's guess!
